We had some incredibly creative entries last year. Listed below are the twelve recipes that really had us on the ropes (in the good way). Take a look and try out a few if you’d like. We did.

      

Aunt Jemima Mexican Pizza Sandwich


Aunt Jemima® Mexican Pizza Sandwich

Yield: 50 servings

Ingredients
100 slices Aunt Jemima® French Toast, heated (SKU 05870)
125 Eggs, scrambled, cooked
50 Pork sausage patties (1 oz. ea), cooked
3-1/4 lb. Cheddar cheese, shredded
3 qt. Salsa, tomato, mild

Preparation

  1. To serve, place 1 piece of hot French toast on plate.
  2. Top with approximately 2 oz. hot scrambled eggs.
  3. Top eggs with 1 hot sausage patty.
  4. Top sausage patty with 2 Tbsp. salsa.
  5. Top salsa with 1 oz. cheese.
  6. Place second piece of hot French toast on top of cheese to make a delicious sandwich.
  7. Repeat the build for the other 49 servings.

*For an Italian Pizza Sandwich, omit salsa and cheddar cheese and replace with tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese and a basil leaf.
